Applications are invited for the below-mentioned positions in the DBT sponsored network project entitled "Functional genomics approaches in understanding the regulation of synthesis and accumulation of apocarotenoids in saffron crocus (Crocus sativus L.)". The duration of the project is for 3 (three) years. Initial appointment will be for one year, extendable by another successive year depending on the progress of the candidate.
Position 1: Research Associate
No. of Post: 1
Essential Qualifications: PhD in Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Botany.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in plant molecular biology, analytical techniques viz. GCMS, UPLC, and analysis of metabolite profiles, etc.
Emoluments: Rs. 22,000/- + 30% HRA for 1st and 2nd year; Rs. 24,000/- + 30% HRA for 3rd year.
Position 2: Technical Assistant
No. of Post: 1
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in any subject.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in letter writing/drafting, computer typing, handling project finances, office work, etc.
Emoluments: Rs. 15,000/- per month consolidated.
