WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Eligible candidates are invited to attend WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on 31st July, 2014 between 9.30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. for the following positions on the ad hoc research projects as detailed below:
Sl.No.1. 1 Position of JRF on the project entitled: “The effect of dietary clarified butter oil
(Ghee) on inflammation and insulin sensitivity in diet induced insulin resistant and diabetic murine models” funded by DBT.
Essential Qualification :1st Class M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Life Sciences from any recognized University. The Candidates should have qualified in the GATE/CSIR/UGC or ICMR/PGI National Entrance Test (NET).
Desirable : Research experience in the relevant area (diabetic complications functional foods and Animal Experimentation) Good record on various Biochemical analysis experience in GC & Molecular Biology, Computer & Software skills.
Consolidated Fellowship: Rs.12,000/-p.m.(Fixed) + 30% HRA without any other allowances
Sl.No.2. 1 Position of JRF on the project entitled: “Identification of candidate gene of obesity on chromosome number 5 in WNIN/Ob rat” funded by DBT.
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in Genetics/Animal Genetics/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Zoology from recognized University and the candidates should have qualified in the CSIR/UGC or ICMR/PGI National Entrance Test (NET) without Fellowship.
Desirable : Experience in animal genetics, genome analysis, sequencing, mapping, SNP
analysis, genotyping. Work experience in animal experimentation, Biochemical, molecular and genetics & breeding.
Consolidated Fellowship: Rs.16,000/- plus 30% HRA p.m. (fixed) without any other allowances.
Age: Below 30 years. Relaxation of age is admissible for SC/ ST/ OBC/PH candidates as per G.O.I. Rules
Tenure: The tenure of the projects for two years. Initially, the appointment orders will be issued yearly basis and extendable based on the performance and funds positions.
The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC
onwards), experience and caste along with a photo and set of photo copies duly attested while attending the Walk-in-Interview.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained. The Candidates who belong to OBC category should submit the certificate of OBC issued by the respective Mandal Revenue Officer/ Tahsildar
of the respective State for the purpose of applying to the Central Government Employment.
